Skyroam and NordVPN Team Up to Offer a One-Of-A-Kind Smartspot VPN Solution
Skyroam, the developer of virtual SIM (vSIM) technology that keeps users connected in over 130 countries, today announced a partnership with NordVPN, the most advanced Virtual Private Network (VPN) service in the world. The partnership will help develop pioneering technologies from both partners that will be used to create a new, all-around advanced solution for the consumer cybersecurity market.
By joining forces, Skyroam and NordVPN have launched the new Solis VPN, available on Skyroam’s Solis WiFi App. By combining their technical know-how and profound expertise to create easy-to-use, leading-edge products and outstanding services, this new service can redefine what security options are available to the consumer Wi-Fi market.
Solis VPN offers the same privacy and content access features as most VPN products, but because it is activated via the Skyroam Solis X or Skyroam Solis Lite hotspot, the VPN service is shareable across any device connected to the Skyroam Wi-Fi, up to 10 simultaneously. “We are thrilled to come together on this partnership to enable more users to seamlessly access world-class VPN while on the Skyroam network, so they can feel more secure and easily access content as they would at home, from anywhere in the world,” said Eric Plam, Skyroam’s President.
The VPN will feature browsing privacy and offer users the ability to connect through 16 different country servers to access local content. This advanced VPN can also be set up and enabled via an app, instead of the manual setup on a router. This is a great feature, as the app will automatically fix the connection in case of a server breakdown.
“More than ever before, users need all-around security solutions wherever they are — traveling, working from home, or a cafe. This partnership will enable people to safeguard their online privacy in a fast, seamless way — from their desktop or smartphones, wherever they go,” said Ruby Gonzalez, Head of Communications at NordVPN Teams. “We are pleased to establish a partnership with Skyroam for all of these reasons.”
The partnership will offer two service plans, a monthly subscription for $9 a month, and a 30-day plan for $12 a month.
