
SKT Makes It Up to Customers with 50% Discounts, Free Data & More
In response to the recent cyber incident in April, SK Telecom is launching a major customer appreciation campaign to rebuild trust and thank its users for their continued support and patience. Starting in August, the company will roll out the ‘T Membership Customer Appreciation Event,’ offering generous benefits including exclusive discounts of over 50% through monthly rotating partnerships with leading brands — a campaign dubbed the ‘Big 3 Relay Discount’. The Big 3 Relay Discount will run for five months, from August to December, rotating every 10 days among the three brands. Partners will be selected based on accessibility, customer preferences, and nationwide store coverage.
SKT customers can enjoy benefits once per brand each month, totaling three uses monthly. Importantly, the discount coupons are available to all users without quantity limits.
The August discount schedule is as follows: SKT Big 3 discount
- Starbucks (August 1–10): Customers can receive a free tall-size Café Americano, including decaf and hot/iced options, and is available via the T Membership app.
- Paris Baguette (August 11–20): Enjoy 50% off all items, with discounts capped at 10,000 KRW.
- Domino’s Pizza (August 21–30): Choose between a 50% discount on delivery (up to 25,000 KRW) or a 60% discount on takeout (up to 30,000 KRW). Coupons can be downloaded via the T Membership app.
SKT is also offering a 50% discount on August telecommunications charges to current customers as well as customers who sign up for SKT by July 14th, as well as an additional 50GB of data per month for five months from August to December.

In April, SK Telecom suffered a serious cyber incident that disrupted services, exposed user vulnerabilities, and resulted in the loss of nearly 200,000 customers. To restore trust and show appreciation to those who stayed, SKT is launching a five-month Customer Appreciation Event starting in August, featuring over 50% discounts from top brands and generous data bonuses. As part of its recovery efforts, the company is also offering all 25 million subscribers a free SIM card replacement—either as a new physical SIM, an eSIM, or via a secure SIM reset option—available through T World stores or online.
