Eurostar Unveils Renovated Lounges in Paris and Brussels
Eurostar, the high-speed rail operator linking London with continental Europe, has unveiled newly renovated Business Premier lounges at two of its busiest terminals: Paris Gare du Nord and Brussels Midi/Zuid. These updates are part of Eurostar’s ongoing investment in improving the premium travel experience across its network. The latest news about the Eurostar lounge find out below.
Serving over 19.5 million passengers in 2024—a record in the company’s history—Eurostar continues to respond to growing demand for sustainable, comfortable alternatives to short-haul air travel. As more travelers choose the train for its speed, convenience, and environmental benefits, the company is focusing on enhancing both in-transit and station experiences.
Eurostar Lounge Network: Where Can You Access Them?
The Paris and Brussels lounges are not Eurostar’s only exclusive lounges. Premium passengers also enjoy access to the flagship lounge at London St Pancras International, and there are partner lounge agreements at Amsterdam Centraal and Rotterdam Centraal. These lounges are designed for Business Premier passengers and top-tier Club Eurostar members (Carte Blanche and Étoile), offering a quiet, comfortable space with elevated hospitality before departure.
Paris: A Modern Take on Classic Parisian Elegance
Located at 22 Rue de Dunkerque, just steps from the departure gates at Gare du Nord, the renovated Paris lounge evokes the timeless charm of Parisian cafés. The redesign by Chris Bagot Studio features a palette of black-and-white tiles, oak paneling, and Calacatta Viola marble, accented with curated European furnishings like Hideout armchairs and Kashmir stools.
Travelers can unwind with drinks from the in-house bar, connect to Wi-Fi in cozy seating zones, or enjoy a rotating selection of French and continental snacks. Throughout the day, the lounge serves fresh breakfast items, mid-morning bites, and both savory and sweet refreshments—all complimentary.
Brussels: Belgian Design Meets Business Comfort
Across from Brussels Midi station on Place Horta, the renovated Brussels lounge celebrates the best of Belgian craftsmanship. Key highlights include a solid oak communal table by Heerenhuis and artistic touches like Muller Van Severen’s Hanging Lamps. A stylish café area and cocktail bar open from 3 PM on weekdays ensure guests can enjoy drinks and nibbles in a serene setting.
Phone booths are also available, allowing business travelers to take calls or hold virtual meetings in privacy.
Commitment to Sustainability
Sustainability was a key focus in the renovation of both lounges. Eurostar prioritized the use of environmentally responsible materials and collaborated with renowned European makers to create spaces that balance elegance with conscious design. Efforts included recycling a significant portion of old furniture and materials, as well as reusing elements in other lounges.
Access and Amenities
Access to the renovated lounges is included with Eurostar Business Premier tickets and is also available to Club Eurostar Carte Blanche and Étoile loyalty members.
