The charge for local and long distance calls to national geographic numbers of all networks was increased from EUR 0.09 (VAT included) to EUR 0.12 per minute from Monday to Saturday; from EUR 0.072 to EUR 0.10 per minute on Sundays, as well as from EUR 0.15 to EUR 0.20 per minute for calls to national mobile networks every day of the week.

These price changes apply to customers charged on time and those who subscribed to selected business plans.

Cosmote is the largest mobile network operator in Greece. The company is headquartered in Athens and is a fully owned subsidiary of the Hellenic Telecommunications Organization (OTE), the incumbent telecommunications provider in Greece. COSMOTE has developed business operations in two other South East Europe countries through subsidiaries: Telekom Albania and Telekom Romania, addressing an extended market of 45 million people. In all three countries COSMOTE counts approximately 35.6 million customers.

In September 2015, the parent company OTE announced they are to adopt the COSMOTE brand as their uniform commercial brand covering fixed, broadband and mobile telephony. At this time, the company has chosen not to adopt the Deutsche Telekom brand under which name it operates in its Central and Eastern European (CEE) operations. cosmote prices

 Prices include VAT 24% and Mobile Telephony Subscriber’s Fee. As of 1/1/2022: A 10% Mobile Subscriber Fee (before VAT) is applied to monthly bills issued for contracts, as well as to any call time (before VAT) activated in Pay As You Go plans. A zero fee (0%) is applied to individuals aged fifteen (15) to twenty-nine (29) years old, after registering to the dedicated gov.gr. application. This is applicable to one number per beneficiary, for the first bill issued for contracts or the next Pay As You Go top-up.
