Telefonica Germany enables 5G roaming in 100+ countries

Telefonica Germany customers in more than 100 countries worldwide can now surf the internet on the fast 5G network. Just in time for the Easter holidays, when many people head out to enjoy the sun, the telecommunications provider has expanded its 5G roaming offering.

Anyone planning a dream vacation in the Caribbean or a trip through Costa Rica will not only have the best time to travel in April. In these and many other regions around the world, O2 Telefónica customers can now also use the modern 5G standard while traveling. A total of 200 5G networks are now available to them around the world. Telefonica Germany 5G roaming

O2 Telefónica already offers 5G coverage in popular European and non-European countries, including Australia, Brazil, Indonesia, Mexico, Thailand, and the USA. The telecommunications company has now expanded its 5G roaming offering to include the following countries: Brunei, Costa Rica, the French Antilles (Martinique, Saint Martin, Saint Barthelemy, French Guiana, Guadeloupe, Marie Galante, La Désirade, Les Saintes), Gambia, Guam, Iran, the Cayman Islands, Kosovo, Panama, the Seychelles, and Tunisia. O2 Telefónica 5G customers automatically benefit from the international offering. This includes O2 residential customers, O2 business customers, customers of the second brand Blau, and numerous partner brands with 5G tariffs.

Surfing in 200 5G networks worldwide with Telefonica Germany 5G roaming service

A total of around 200 5G networks are available for mobile data use abroad, as access to multiple 5G networks is possible in many countries.
5G roaming is currently available in the following countries and regions:
