On October 2, the news broke. Media like El Español exclusively revealed that Xiaomi arrived in Spain soon, through a store in Madrid’s Xanadú shopping center. Then came the official confirmation by the brand and the photographs that revealed that the Xanadu store would not be alone, there would also be another one in the central La Vaguada, also in Madrid.
Today Xiaomi has made the long-over in Spain, revealing some of the doubts that we still had to clear, such as the distribution and official prices of their smartphones. Amazon, AliExpress, Carrefour, MediaMarkt and Phone House are the initial partners, who will sell from tomorrow the same Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 and Mi A1 at very reasonable prices, 499 and 229 euros respectively.
The company’s flagship Mi Mix 2 smartphone will be available for EUR 499 for the 6GB RAM and 64GB storage version, with the Android One-powered Mi A1 costing EUR 229 for the 4GB RAM and 64GB storage model. Other handsets available will include the Redmi 4A and 4X, the Redmi Note 4, 5A and 5A Prime as well as the Mi 6. Xiaomi will also be selling a full portfolio of accessories and peripherals.
