With iOS 14.5 Iliad 5G arrives on iPhone
Iliad 5G is now available on all iPhone 12 and their variants (12 iPhone mini, iPhone and iPhone 12 Pro 12 Pro Max). Iliad 5G
By upgrading to iOS released last night (in the latest version, 14.5) along with the update manager, it is now finally possible to use the 5G of Iliad also on all iPhones that support the fifth-generation networks.
To enable 5G on iPhone 12 , just go to Settings> Cellular> Cellular Data Options. If you are using dual SIM mode, go to Settings> Cellular and choose the number for which to change the options.
At this point, select 5G active (always uses the 5G network when it is available) or 5G auto (activates intelligent data consumption: if a massive exchange of data traffic is not required, internet browsing is in LTE even if it reports 5G coverage. to extend battery life).
We point out that, even if the VoLTE option is available on the iPhone, this is not active on the operator side, so it cannot yet be used with iliad. Iliad 5G
After updating your iPhone to iOS 14.5, if it has not already been done automatically, just go to Settings> General> Info and the notice for the manager update should appear here.
To enable 5G iliad , it is necessary to have the 46.1 update (as per screenshot below), otherwise it will not be possible to use it.
So in addition to the different models of Android smartphones compatible with the iliad 5G network (here is the updated list ), now also iPhone 12, iPhone 12 mini, iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max are added.
