Truphone today announces a deal which will see it gain access to Orange’s 4G network in France.
Details on the commercial model, products and solutions Truphone plans on bringing to the French market will be announced at the launch event scheduled for later this year. Both innovation and investment in the future of telecommunications technology in Europe are key goals for Orange and Truphone, and both parties believe the introduction of a specialised enterprise-oriented player into the French market will accelerate this exponentially.
Ralph Steffens, CEO, Truphone said: “This expansion to our ninth full-service country comes at a particularly exciting time for Truphone as we continue to build our range of connectivity and technology solutions. By partnering with one of the world’s largest and most innovative mobile operators, we are signalling our commitment to make connections smarter for more people and more businesses across the world.”
Yannick Decaux, Mobile Commercial Director, Orange Wholesale France added: “Orange Wholesale France has been working for several years to develop and enhance its offer and its ability to support mobile partners in their growth in France and beyond—specifically in the IoT market. This partnership with Truphone is part of that strategy. Orange has made important network investments to have the best quality of service and we are very pleased that Truphone has chosen Orange for its business in France”.
