TIM Brasil receives BRL 9.7 million penalty for charging for unsolicited services

The National Consumer Secretariat (Senacon) of Brazil’s Ministry of Justice and Public Security has applied a BRL 9.7 million fine on TIM Brasil for charging for products and services not contracted by customers, reports Agencia Brasil.
The fine is the same as those imposed on operators Vivo, Oi and Claro in September 2018, when they committed the same infraction.
