Spaniards paying 27% more for broadband than EU average
Compared to the market offering the lowest prices, Germany, Spaniards end up paying 19.33 euros more per month (232 euros more per year) than German users, that is, 57.43% more.
In terms of the cheapest broadband, the countries with the lowest prices are typically Romania, Bulgaria, and Hungary.
As for the most expensive broadband, the data indicates that countries like Greece, Cyprus, and Malta have the highest prices. Spain is not among the countries with the most expensive broadband either, but it is still slightly above the average in terms of price.
It’s worth noting that these price comparisons are based on a number of factors, including the type of broadband service (e.g., fiber, cable, DSL), the speed of the service, and the location of the provider. Therefore, it’s important to research specific providers and packages in order to get an accurate picture of broadband prices in Spain.
