Orange Romania offers 5G roaming
Orange Romania said it’s the first operator in the country to offer its customers access to 5G technology outside the country’s borders: 5G roaming. Orange Romania 5G roaming
5G roaming refers to the ability to access 5G network services while traveling outside of your home country. This means that if you are a subscriber of a 5G mobile service provider, you can enjoy the benefits of 5G technology, such as faster internet speeds, lower latency, and higher network capacity, even when you’re in a foreign country. To use 5G roaming, you need to have a 5G-capable mobile device and a 5G roaming agreement between your home mobile service provider and the local network operator in the country you’re visiting.
Initially, Orange subscribers will be able to use the mobile internet at 5G speeds in the United Arab Emirates, through a partnership with a local Etisalat operator.
Orange 5G roaming service is available from 25 February throughout the United Arab Emirates and can be accessed by Orange subscribers who have a 5G compatible phone and a 5G subscription.
“After the launch of the 5G network in November 2019, a first for the Orange group, Orange Romania is now becoming the first operator in Romania to make available to its 5G roaming subscribers. Through new partnerships, we will continue to expand the list of countries where our customers can access the technology. 5G.
