Orange France activates 5G roaming
Orange officially unveiled the list of European countries in which its mobile subscribers can now roam 5G . Enjoy 5G abroad free of charge in ten European countries: It includes Spain, Germany, Italy, United Kingdom, Switzerland, Poland, Austria, Romania, Bulgaria, Luxembourg and Latvia (in purple on the map below ).
And Orange announces that new countries will be added to this list as 5G is deployed in other European countries:

The operator is in the process of making new agreements with foreign operators for 5G, and indicates that it has “made agreements with nearly 130 countries in the world”, all generations of networks combined. As a reminder, the agreement for free mobile roaming in Europe was extended at the beginning of the month until 2032 .
It was originally scheduled to end in June 2022, but the European Parliament and the European Council have managed to reach a new deal. And the new agreement now includes 5G and covers the 27 EU member states as well as Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein. On the other hand, the United Kingdom is no longer concerned.
