Mozambique adopts security standards for telecom networks

Mozambique has approved the minimum standards and requirements for the security of telecommunications networks and services to ensure availability, integrity, confidentiality and authenticity, data protection, transparency, quality of communications and resilience of network infrastructure.

The Regulation of Security of Telecommunications Networks establishes that regulator Arecom shall audit and verify the conformity of the security of telecom networks with international standards and facilitate the identification of suppliers or manufacturers of more effective solutions against fraud.
