US firm, Accountemps surveyed 300 HR managers. Of them, 39% thought that Tuesdays were the most productive day of the week, whilst 24% believed that Mondays were the day to get things done, followed by 13% who voted Wednesdays. most productive day of the week

It’s not a current phenomenon that Tuesdays are the most productive. The second day of the week has held first place for productivity since 1987, when a similar survey was conducted, back then 57% of HR managers thought Tuesday was the best day to get things done.

Planning a holiday or have a major event coming up?

The survey says that 34% of HR managers believe that concentration drops off before going away or a life event as the mind wanders…

And, on a Friday, workers are planning the weekend ahead and tend to lose focus.
