Minsk Metro to expand public Wi-Fi service in 2019

The public Wi-Fi network is planned to expand in the Minsk metro in 2019, reports Providers.by. Free Wi-Fi services will become available in ten additional metro stations in the capital city.

The services are currently available in the Kupalovskaya and Oktyabrskaya metro stations in Minsk.

Before the start of the II European Games, access points will be equipped at six stations – Petrovschina, Lenin Square, Uruchye, Pervomayskaya, Nemiga, Avtozavodskaya, the Minsk-News agency writes .

Authorization in the network will take place according to the mobile number – tourists and participants of the II European Games will probably have to buy a SIM card from one of the Belarusian cellular operators.
