Mexican prepay users are spending more on top-ups but are recharging less frequently, reports Xataka Mexico, citing the latest data from the Competitive Intelligence Unit (CIU). Over the past couple of years, the average frequency of top-ups has fallen from a high of 2.1 per month in Q2 2017 to 1.5 per month in the first quarter of this year. At the same users spent an average of MXN 54.0 per top-up in Q1 2019 compared to MXN 47.8 in Q1 2017.
