Magenta Telekom introduces hospitality customer check-in service to stop Covid-19 spread

Magenta Telekom said it has introduced a digital guest registration service called “Gast-CheckIn” in cooperation with the Figlmuller Group and Diamir Holding. magenta telekom


The first three months of this solution are free and afterwards the reduced price of €10  instead of €29 applies to Magenta customers. The solution can be canceled on a monthly basis.

Magenta customers can obtain the registration solution at the mentioned special conditions via the “My Magenta App”. After logging in to the app, you will be redirected to the landing page of Gast-CheckIn via your own action banner, where you can register and automatically benefit from the special conditions for Magenta customers.

The customers then receive a QR code as a print template, which they can place on tables and / or at the entrance so that they are clearly visible for their guests, as well as a link to the guest list.

How does the Magenta Telekom application work for guests?

The restaurateur puts the individual QR code on the tables, the guests have to scan it and enter their details. As soon as a guest submits the form, the restaurateur can call up the data in the guest check-in portal and, if necessary, make it available to the health authorities as an Excel file with just one click. If there is no suspicion, the guest data will be automatically deleted after 4 weeks.

Guest-CheckIn was developed in accordance with the ordinance of the City of Vienna regarding the provision of information for contact tracing in connection with suspected cases of COVID-19. During the development it was particularly important to us that our product can be used immediately by every restaurateur regardless of technical know-how and also affordable regardless of his financial capabilities ”, explain Lorenz Edtmayer and Maximilian Nimmervoll, founders and managing directors of DIAMIR Holding.
