During February and March, about 3 million Kyivstar subscribers were forced to leave their homes due to the Russian attack. Abroad, Kyivstar launched “Roaming like at home”—in 30 countries of the world, the same conditions apply as in Ukraine, without extra charges.
About 2.5 million subscribers of the Kyivstar operator are still outside Ukraine and increasingly actively use their Ukrainian number. “Roaming like at home” works in 30 countries of the world. Among them are Great Britain, Austria, France, Sweden, Greece, Egypt, and others.
On average, in July, one subscriber with the “Roaming as at Home” service used 5,256 MB of mobile Internet and made calls while roaming for 191 minutes.
For comparison, customers on a standard roaming tariff download an average of 201 MB of data and talk for 9 minutes in one month.
Those 900,000 subscribers who were using “Roaming at Home” during the three months of operation of the service used almost 32 million GB of mobile Internet. Kyivstar Roam Like Home users
