The Smart Combinations are being launched in phases. Cloud Communications, Secure Networking and Connected Workplace will come out this year. KPN is developing Smart Combinations together with Cisco and Microsoft, among others.
The Solutions are based on KPN best practices, guaranteeing both rapid, predictable implementation and continuous innovation, safety and availability. In this way business customers can focus on the digitization of their business operations, while they are unburdened in terms of networking, IT and security.
With extensive digitization, KPN makes it possible to have the functionality quickly available and customers have online insight and management options. With this, KPN offers companies the flexibility and speed needed in the rapidly changing market.
According to Jilles Limburg, marketing director at KPN Business Market, companies want smoothly functioning IT that is safe and reliable. “With Smart Combinations, customers get flexibility in terms of network, IT and security,” says Limburg. “Moreover, the benefits of integration can be considerable. Consider more collaboration and functionality and therefore lower costs. “
Royal KPN N.V. (“KPN”) announced this week that it has reached agreement to sell its international network to GTT Communications, Inc. (‘GTT’), a global cloud networking provider to multinational clients and operator of a Tier 1 IP network, for approximately € 50 million on a cash and debt-free basis (enterprise value). The transaction includes the sale of international fiber assets and network points of presence (POPs) in 21 countries.
The transaction is in line with KPN’s strategy to accelerate simplification of the company. The proceeds of the transaction will be retained to increase operational and financial flexibility. The transaction is subject to regular closing conditions, including regulatory approvals.
