Germans use the new roaming freedom but cautiously

Roaming has long been a nuisance to travelers. Thanks to EU Commission’s efforts, between 2007 and 2016 roaming costs fallen by more than 90 percent.

Most Germans know about the abolition of the roaming charges but many Germans continue to use their cell phone when visiting another EU country rather reserved, reports Statista.

Nevertheless, the proportion of those who use mobile services just as often as at home has increased noticeably.
