Avaya Holdings Corp. announced it has been named a 2018 Gartner Peer Insights Customers’ Choice for Unified Communications. Gartner defines Unified Communications (UC) as “products (equipment, software and services) as those that facilitate the interactive use of multiple enterprise communications methods.
This can include control, management and integration of these methods. UC products integrate communications channels (media), networks and systems, as well as IT business applications and, in some cases, consumer applications and devices.”
“Being named a 2018 Gartner Peer Insights Customers’ Choice for Unified Communications reflects the commitment we have to our customers to provide world class solutions with an outstanding customer experience to support it,” said Jim Chirico, President and CEO, Avaya. “Receiving this recognition demonstrates that our customers and partners see our continued innovation and differentiated and valued solutions in UC. We continue to innovate to meet the needs of our customers, and are grateful for the feedback they share with us on Gartner Peer Insights.”
In July, Avaya was positioned as a Leader in the 2018 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Unified Communications, marking the 9th time that Avaya has been in a Leader position. More than 130,000 customers around the globe rely on Avaya to reliably deliver secure, intelligent connections for their customers and employees, including 95% of the Fortune 500.
Gartner defines The Gartner Peer Insights Customers’ Choice as “a recognition of vendors in this market by verified end-user professionals, taking into account both the number of reviews and the overall user ratings.” For this recognition, a vendor must have a minimum of 50 published ratings with an average overall rating of 4.2 stars or higher. To ensure fair evaluation, Gartner maintains rigorous criteria for recognizing vendors.
