Always Mobile Expands eSIM Coverage in 11 New Markets
Always Mobile has expanded its travel eSIM footprint with 11 new destinations: Aruba, Greenland, Vatican City, Kuwait, Haiti, Venezuela, Martinique, Saint Martin, Saint Barthélemy, San Marino and Mayotte.
Announced on August 4, 2026, the update takes the provider beyond the usual airport-hub markets and into a more eclectic mix of Caribbean islands, microstates and destinations that can still be awkward to cover with a conventional roaming plan.
“Travelers want coverage that matches the places they actually go,” said Michael Stanford, Founder and President of Always Mobile.
“By expanding our destination list, we’re making it easier for customers to choose an eSIM for travel that fits their itinerary and gives them a reliable, modern way to stay connected.”
Filling the smaller gaps
The Caribbean accounts for almost half of the expansion, with Aruba, Haiti, Martinique, Saint Martin and Saint Barthélemy joining the portfolio. Europe gains Vatican City and San Marino, Kuwait strengthens the Gulf and Middle East offer, while Greenland, Venezuela and Mayotte extend coverage into markets that are less consistently presented by travel eSIM stores.
These are not simply names added to a destination counter. Always Mobile has created standalone prepaid plans for most of them, generally offering fixed allowances from 1GB to 20GB.

Current entry prices range from €2,95 for Vatican City, Saint Martin, Saint Barthélemy and Mayotte to €9.95 for Aruba. Greenland starts at around €7.95, Haiti at €9.95, Venezuela at €9.95, Martinique and San Marino at €2.95. Kuwait is available through regional products, including a six-country Gulf plan starting at €2.95. Travelers should therefore check the live product page before purchasing.
What travelers actually receive
The new destination plans are prepaid and data-only. They do not include a local telephone number, conventional voice calls or SMS, although WhatsApp, iMessage, Telegram and other internet-based services can be used over the data connection.
That makes the offer practical for maps, messaging, reservations and everyday travel tasks, but less suitable for anyone who specifically needs a local number or traditional calling.
Installation remains straightforward: customers purchase online, receive the QR code and instructions by email, and can install the eSIM before departure. The plans support hotspot use, while top-ups are available on the fixed-data products. Service begins when the eSIM first connects to an eligible network at the destination, rather than when it is purchased.
Network arrangements vary. Always Mobile lists Orange 5G for Martinique, Saint Martin, Saint Barthélemy and Mayotte; TELE Greenland 4G in Greenland; Digitel 4G in Venezuela; Digicel 4G in Haiti; and TIM, Wind and Iliad coverage for Vatican City and San Marino.
As always with a travel eSIM, “up to 5G” is not a promise that 5G will be available everywhere—the actual experience still depends on the local partner network, device and location.
One important coverage caveat
Travelers planning an island-hopping trip should read the regional coverage lists carefully.
Always Mobile’s published Caribbean regional plan currently does not list Aruba, Haiti, Martinique, Saint Martin or Saint Barthélemy among its supported locations. Martinique, Saint Martin and Saint Barthélemy do appear in its South America regional product, while Aruba and Haiti have standalone plans.

In other words, it would be inaccurate to assume that one Caribbean package automatically covers all five new Caribbean destinations. The product catalogue would benefit from clearer alignment between the announcement, destination pages and regional coverage tables.
Final thoughts about Always Mobile eSIM
Always Mobile is not entering empty territory. Airalo and Saily advertise coverage in more than 200 destinations, Ubigi also operates across 200-plus destinations, and GigSky already sells Caribbean plans covering Aruba, Haiti, Martinique, Saint Barthélemy and Saint Martin. Some competitors also offer reusable eSIMs or unlimited regional options, which may be more attractive to frequent travelers and heavier data users.
Still, this expansion reflects an important market shift. Destination totals have become easy marketing; useful coverage is harder.
The next phase of travel eSIM competition will be decided by how well providers handle the awkward edges: small territories, multi-island journeys, transparent network information and bundles that match real itineraries. Always Mobile has made a sensible move by filling eleven of those gaps. Its next task is to make the packaging as precise as the coverage.
