All Qatarna and New Shahry 250 customers travelling to Monaco and roaming on the Monaco Telecom network can now use their roaming data allowances to stay connected during their visit, giving them access to great-value data without the risk of overspending, the company said.

Monaco Telecom Added To Already Extensive List of Passport Roaming Partners

Other postpaid customers can activate an Ooredoo Passport card which enables worry-free roaming. Once activated, the Passport card instantly provides 1GB of data and 100 minutes, enabling customers to stay connected with friends and family when they are in Monaco or in other Ooredoo Passport partner countries. If customers forget to activate an Ooredoo Passport before they travel, a Passport will automatically be activated once roaming charges reach QR100, and activated again if allowances are used up,” it added.

Out-of-bundle charges for Monaco will be QR5 per minute/GB/SMS. Customers can sign up for Qatarna plans or subscribe to Ooredoo Passport online via the Ooredoo app or at any Ooredoo shop around town, the company said.

Manar Khalifa al Muraikhi, director PR and Corporate Communications at Ooredoo, said, “We know our Passport service is vital to our customers travelling abroad since they want to stay connected with friends and family. Monaco is at the top of the list of countries Qatari citizens and residents visit, so, we’re delighted to add it to the already extensive list of countries where Qatarna roaming data and Ooredoo Passport is available.”
