AeroMobile partners with Du for in-flight connectivity

The new partnership will expand on Du‘s international roaming plans, ‘Roaming data bundle on preferred networks,’ which lets subscribers use their phones in 86 different countries for the same price as being at home.
Inflight roaming is designed to give you maximum business productivity and cost-effective connectivity on your travels. Simply subscribe to an eligible roaming pack and connect to one of our preferred inflight networks (AeroMobile and OnAir) and you’re all set.

The international roaming bundles will now include AeroMobile’s in-flight mobile services, which will enhance the experience of travelling even further. Subscribers will be able to browse the internet and stay connected, send and receive texts, listen to voicemail, and make and receive calls on AeroMobile equipped aircraft at no extra cost, provided customers have the eligible roaming data package active.
How do I know when to use the service or when to connect to the Du in-flight network? Du inflight wifi
The cabin crew will make an announcement to let you know when you can turn your phone on and use this service. Typically, the DU in-flight network becomes available when the aircraft has reached 6,000m above the ground. The network will be available throughout the cruise phase of the flight, but phones must be switched off for take-off and landing.
