Airtel International Roaming Gets a Boost with New Features

Airtel is stepping up its international roaming game by introducing a suite of user-friendly features designed to give travelers more control, convenience, and transparency. From real-time usage tracking to the ability to pre-book roaming packs and manage services with a single tap, both prepaid and postpaid users can now enjoy a smoother, more affordable roaming experience. With revamped global packs covering the most popular destinations, Airtel is making it easier than ever to stay connected while abroad, without the worry of hidden charges or unexpected data usage.

Real-Time Usage Tracking: Using the Airtel Thanks app, both postpaid and prepaid customers will now be able to track their international roaming pack usage in real-time.

No Unwanted Data Usage: Once the IR pack benefits are exhausted by the customer, data services would be barred to protect against any unwanted charges due to over-usage. Customers can take another pack or a top on the go through the Airtel Thanks app

Enable / Disable IR Service with a single touch: Airtel postpaid customers can now enable or disable their IR service with just one click through the Airtel Thanks app for control of their spending.

Pre-Book IR Packs, Use Later: Airtel Prepaid customers can now purchase an IR pack up to 30 days prior to their actual date of travel. The pack’s validity will start only after it connects to an international mobile network. This feature is already available to Airtel Postpaid customers

Global Packs: Airtel has developed new global packs that cover the most travelled countries. This would allow seamless travel across the world with just one pack

Airtel offers 1 GB of data, 100 minutes of incoming and outgoing calls to India and the host country, and unlimited incoming SMS for 30 days for a price of Rs 1,199.

Airtel is offering 1 GB of data per day, unlimited incoming calls, 500 minutes of outgoing calls to India and the host country, and unlimited incoming SMS for 10 days for Rs 4,999.
